"Webster's Dictionary defines wedding as "the fusing of two metals with a hot torch." Well, you know something? I think you guys are two medals. Gold medals."  - Michael Scott

Ok so you're engaged. You've started looking at venues, photographers, themes, but you're a lil overwhelmed.

it's ok. you're here now.

I gotchu

Days are short. Wedding days fly by way too quickly. The flowers die, the dress + shoes get pushed to the back of the closet, but what will holdfast are the photos from your wedding day. This very thing is what pushes me to be the best artist I can be. To preserve those moments exactly as they happened. To bottle up the emotions you were feeling in a single image. So that each time you look through your wedding images, you'll see + feel exactly what happened. More vivid than your memories.

here's the deal:

You're not cookie cutter.

I'm not cookie cutter.

You deserve photos that aren't cookie cutter.

I'm here for you. Throughout your engagement season, I'm here for you if you have questions about anything from wedding planning to food to decor. On your wedding day, I'm your right hand when you need me. I make sure you're relaxed while you're getting ready + refill the mimosas as needed. I document a wedding day as I would want my own photographed. I capture the memories + the details of your dope ass wedding with passion behind every click of the camera. I'll laugh with you, cry with you, look out for you, grab beer for you, + make sure everything is as AWESOME as you!

I'm not just any girl with a "nice camera". If you're in search of someone to show up with a fancy camera, take a few photos and peace out, I'm not the girl. I want a connection with my couples because I want to capture you the best I can + that's how I'm able to do so. I'm going to photograph your day like I would want mine photographed. That means being a fly on the wall + documenting your precious time with your mother while getting your dress on + capturing how your dad teases your groom + the groomsmen. When mom + dad hold back tears during the ceremony, how your groom looks at you walking down the aisle, how you're surrounded by everyone you love on this most important day.

I photograph details, such as florals, dresses, and decor, but my couples, are always the most important part of a wedding day.

My philosophy

Cut through the fake ish.  Let's get real + personal. Let your guard down. This is time for you + your lover. I want the real you here. The messy, unabridged, raw, lovely you. If that thought makes you bit uncomfortable, that's ok. You just have to be willing to let the emotions happen. You bring the love, I'll do the rest.

I don’t care what you look like, how expensive your florals are, or how many guests you have, I’m looking for couples who are passionate, completely in love, unique, and adventurous.

Couples that aim to have a kick ass day. From getting ready, to the tear-jerking vows, to the tequila shots on the dance floor.

I hope you don't care too much about your dress getting a little dirty + letting the wind mess up your hair a bit, because those mean your more concerned about lovin' on ya honey. You aim to have a laid back day celebrating your love instead of worrying about making it "the perfect pinterest wedding", because the only perfect wedding is a wedding full of love, JOY, + a damn good party!

You see the importance of wedding photos. I want you to treasure the images from your wedding for the rest of your lives. This means taking time out of your day (or a day after session) to take portraits. To me, taking bride + groom portraits is more than "smile at me" and "kiss". Bride + groom portraits are about celebrating the fact that from that day forward, you two will be married. I mean, after all, that's what we're there for! I photograph the loud, silly moments as much as the quiet, intimate moments between you two.

If this sounds even a little like you, we're going to get along great.
